Vijunns is the audio-visual project of LA-based music producer and art director Jeremy Raskin. Since 2018, Raskin has explored the terrain between ambient and techno, carving out a space beyond rave euphoria and the contemplative depths of electronica rich with lucid imagery and immersive storytelling.
Raskin’s ambitious project has already shed an enormous influence on the electronic scene, with high-profile artists eagerly summoning him to shape their world as well. Since 2022, Raskin has expanded his creative output through a growing series of eclectic collaborations and gigs—scoring music festivals for Notch (founder of Minecraft), holding down DJ slots at FORM Arcosanti alongside Bonobo, Chrome Sparks, and James Blake, producing remixes for Dais Records, and designing album artworks & packaging ranging from Kehlani to Nils Hoffmann.
The provocation of the future is always present in Raskin’s approach, defining itself in his forthcoming 2025 opus, “Collapse,” a self-described “soundtrack to the end of the world” that intersects the distinct internal and external milieu of our present socio-political epoch. With Raskin’s keen sensitivity towards deconstructing genres and boldly crafting them in both familiar and unforeseen ways, “Collapse” signifies not only the death of the old world but also the birth of the new.
